This sketch was inspired by the work of the great, Brazilian, landscape architect, Roberto Burle Marx. It seems to me he was treating the earth's surface as a huge canvas, where he would start drawing and coloring and creating magical places.
Done using ink and, as always, dry pastels and color pencils for the background.
